The conservator will be responsible for stabilization, wetcleaning, mounting, framing, and collections care in addition to report writing, project management, and community outreach. Occasional off-site and long-distance travel is also required. An interest in social media and blogging is desirable. Candidates should have at least one year of experience working as a conservator plus a graduate degree in conservation or equivalent. The position is for four or five days a week for a period of twelve months with the possibility of extension. Salary and benefits are competitive.
